The survey also revealed that majority of Philippines’ workforce (86%) exercise less than three times per week, with five out of 10 getting less than 30 minutes of physical activity a day at their workplace. This suggests a significantly worrying trend locally, on the back of rising obesity rates recorded in recent years. Nevertheless, the risk of obesity could be averted if workers in the Philippines decide to take control over their own nutritional intake and exercise regimen. And one of them is the all-time favorite ice cream. Filipinos, both young and adults, love to eat ice cream especially during summer to beat the summer heat. As part of its summer campaign, Molito is launching its very first COOL SUMMER – Ice Cream, Desserts and More Festival 2016. It aims to bring the whole family together in a fun-filled and entertaining event that would make summer really enjoyable. It will be held on May 13-14, 2016 (Friday and Saturday), starting 4:00PM at the Molito Lifestyle Center. The event will gather different ice cream manufacturers, distributors and specialty stores. Aside from ice creams, other related-products such as desserts and sweets will be highlighted. There will be booths from the exhibitors and sponsors showcasing their products. Visitors will be surely delighted with the free products (samples), games, raffle and live music entertainment from guest bands. Admission is free.
