I feel honored to be part of this Conference . Its good to know that our country is very active in participating the global Urban Development . Speakers coming from different sector including the International Speakers presented the formulation on urban development policies and the new Philippine Development Plan. One of the guest speaker is our very own Senator Richard Gordon Philippine Senate and Chairman of Philippine Red Cross and our beautiful Vice President of the Philippines Leni Lobredo...The whole program aims to enhance the capacity of the Government of the Philippines and its key partners to plan , design and implement low emission. One of its objective is to improve the institutional capacity on National Greenhouse Gas Inventory.... Other topics during the two day Conference are the Urbanization trends in the Philippines, Fostering competitive and sustainable cities, Ending extreme poverty in the Philippines through Urban-led Growth, Improving Business Climate for Investments, Improving Water Access and Sanitation Services, Promoting Social Inclusion in Urban Environment There are many other issues discussed during this conference and they even had panel discussion and question and answer portions from the delegates,,, I must say that the two day conference was a great success...Conference quality was excellent. It had appropriate materials for every presentations , It was very informative and easy to understand.. All the speakers were effective in delivering their lectures. The approach was very effective..I commend the organizer of this event... Congratulations!

Disaster Summit at the DOST Philvolcs #dostphilvolcs

Yesterday , My blogger friends and I attended the Disaster Summit at the DOST Philvolcs Auditorium UP Diliman. I would like to share with all of you some of the important points during this Summit.... The Philippines is prone to many geological hazards and we need to live safely thats why the PHILVOLCS have their disaster reduction activities which are focused on monitoring and warning, hazard and risk assessment that will provide appropriate science -based scenarios, also the public awareness by educating , preparing and building safety and mainstreaming risk reduction in development planning and having partnership that leads to significant gains in their DRR efforts. The PNRI being the National regulatory authority developed emergency preparedness and response plan procedures to respond to any incident that results in the release of radioactive material in the environment. The Health Physics Research Section of PNRI continues to perform terrestrial, aquatic and athmospheric environmental radioactivity monitoring in the entire Philippines Achipelago and dose assessment for safety of the general public against the hazards of radiation.

The whole session was very informative by the way one the speaker is DOSTSec Fortunato Dela Pena - It pays to always be prepared! I attended Chef Next Door with Jonas Ng Season 2 Press Launch last July 20th at Le Jardine W fifth Building BGC...We enjoyed everything - the program made all the guest felt at home... you can see in every faces the fun that their having at that moment, the organizer did a very great job to create a very amazing enjoyable environment, every detail of the program was exciting, from their Rockaoke, raffles, video presentation, then band which completed a wonderful amazing unforgettable Wednesday event. The cozy breath-taking overview of BGC made me feel so relaxed and had such a wonderful fun experience... Customer service was excellent, food were all delicious - including the ice cream, salad, lechon, empanada and cakes.... and hope I can have a try of their other menus next time ♡♡♡ and of course the star of the event Chef Jonas Ng, He has a very cool personality, his charm is very contagious, great sense of humor, so funny like a clown in the party, I've watched a cooking show and my general observation was chefs were so serious, but Chef Jonas is totally different. He shared about how he started and emphasized loving what you like to do because for him cooking is all about passion, his inspiration behind all this is his loving mother ... I can feel much passion , love and joy when he answers all the questions from the media... He looks sooo happy.. I loved it when He quoted on how he motivates his staff and that is by saying " think as if you're cooking for your love ones, always cook with love.... The taste of his food reflects his personality loving and full of surprises... .I am sure that his show is going to be lively, fun, crazy, and more brilliant surprises in store to everyone...
